 "Before the coffee gets cold", "Coffee ga Samenai Uchi Ni" in Japanese is a film adaptation of a best-selling novel that was nominated for awards in bookstores. It was released on September 21, 2018.

The main character is Kazu Tokita acted by Kasumi Arimura. She is a clerk in the coffee shop, ”Funicli Funicula". This coffee shop has a mysterious urban legend that if you sit in a certain seat in the shop, you can go back to the time you want. However, there are some rules that are very annoying. 

1, No matter what you do in the past, reality will never change.

2, Even if you go back in time, you can't leave the coffee shop.

3, The only time you can go back in time is between the time she pours your coffee into your cup and the time it cools down. You have to drink up the coffee before it gets cool.

4, The seat where you can go back in time has a previous customer. You can sit in the seat only when she has left.

5, Even if you go back in time, you won't be able to meet people who haven't visited this coffee shop.

Only the women of the Tokita family can make coffee. Customers visit this coffee shop after hearing a strange rumor. No matter what you do, reality won't change, but people still want to go back to the past and reunite with people they want to meet. What has been waiting for them in the past, and what is the secret of Kazu?
